The Academy at Melodic Rhythms is and individualized mentoring program based on the principle of "One student, one tutor". We strive to work with the school, the family, and the student to develop a thorough plan for academic success.

Conducting an initial assessment, constructing a framework for improvement, and setting goals for every student are just the beginning to the program. Through ongoing evaluation and communication with parents and teachers, we strive to equip students with the tools for success.

Whether students require assistance with:

Homework Completion and Comprehension
Studying/ Test-Taking Strategies
Hands-on Application of Lessons
Overall Knowledge and Strengthening of Skills
Gifted Learners/ Open-ended Problem Solving

We can develop a unique program designed to engage and challenge your learner.

Step 1. Request Form

Please fill out the Tutoring Request Form to help us identify your needs and set up a consultation.

Step 2. Orientation

Introductions and interview process - Tutors will conduct an interview with the parent(s) and student to explain our program, policies, and procedures.

Step 3. Evaluations

Based on the interview, students will be comprehensively evaluated on their knowledge and comprehension of needed areas. Students may also be evaluated on test taking and homework skills

Step 4. Setting a Framework for Success

Based on the results of the evaluations and the Teacher Evaluation form, tutors begin to set a plan to improve the abilities of the individual through progressive scaffolding of skills.

All tutors are licensed teachers in the state of Illinois

GED courses and ACT/SAT prep courses are currently enrolling
